ABOUT TEAM BEECHWOOD Team Beechwood is the successful partnership of the Foundation and PTSA, committed to empowering every student at Beechwood to reach their full potential. The Foundation is our school’s primary fundraising organization. It is a non-profit, community-led volunteer organization dedicated to equipping, enriching and empowering our students. Programs that are funded through the Foundation are: Music and arts (grades K-8) Visual arts, dance, band, choir, drama, arts bus and orchestra Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) (grades K-8) New technology for classrooms and the STEM lab including 1:1 iPads Experiential learning (grades K-8) Field trips, living history walk-throughs and college tours Physical Education (grades K-5) Physical education and health instruction by a credentialed teacher Premier reading and writing programs (grades K-5), Readers’ and Writers’ Workshop and specialized teacher training Media center and classroom periodicals (grades K-8) Library and classroom resources Fall musical production and Stagelight Productions team The PTSA supports programs and events that bring together students, parents, teachers and the community: Dining For Dollars Spirit Wear PBIS Cart Boo Fest! BEECHWOOD PTSA The PTSA supports programs and events that bring together students, parents, teachers and the community. Beechwood School PTSA! At Beechwood, our PTSA is more than just a group of parents, it’s a community that brings students, parents, and staff together to create something special. We build lasting memories through student and family events, strengthen connections through community events, and spread joy with school spirit activities. For Students: Beechwood’s PTSA empowers students to shine. From building leadership skills to learning about advocacy and boosting self-confidence, our student members are making a real difference in their school and community. For Parents and Families: Being part of PTSA offers parents a deeper understanding of today’s youth, the chance to help shape meaningful programs, and opportunities to connect with other families who care just as much as you do. The Beechwood PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) plays a vital role in fostering the bond between home, school, and community by organizing meaningful events and creating memorable experiences for our children and families. Each school year, we launch a membership drive to ensure the success of these programs and support the needs of our school. Our goal each year is to reach 400 members, and we need your help! We invite you to sign up your entire family—parents, relatives, teachers, and students are all welcome to join. Memberships are just $15 each and can be purchased below. Your participation helps create a strong sense of community, enriches school programs, and directly impacts the resources and opportunities available to all students.
